What we can and can’t print.
We print almost anything you can model — but a few things are off-limits, by law or by principle. When you place an order you confirm your files follow this policy.
What you’re confirming
At checkout you tick one box confirming that, to the best of your knowledge, your files:
- Aren’t weapons — no firearms, firearm parts or receivers, or other prohibited weapons or their components.
- Aren’t illegal — nothing unlawful to make or possess under Canadian or B.C. law.
- Don’t copy someone else’s work — it’s your own design, or it comes from a source that permits printing.
No weapons
We don’t print firearms, firearm parts or receivers, or other prohibited weapons or their components — in any material, by any method. In Canada this isn’t just our preference: handling files made to manufacture such items can be a criminal offence. If we receive one, we’ll refuse the order, and where the law requires it we may report it.
Nothing illegal
Beyond weapons, we won’t print anything that’s unlawful to make or possess under Canadian or British Columbia law. If you’re not sure whether something’s allowed, ask us before you order and we’ll let you know.
Respecting others’ work
Please only send us models you’re allowed to print — your own designs, or models from a source that lets you print them. You don’t need to be a copyright expert; we just ask that, to the best of your knowledge, you’re not copying someone else’s protected design.
One thing worth knowing: some free models are shared under licences that limit commercial use. If you downloaded a model, it’s worth checking the source allows printing. When you pay us to print something for your own personal use, that’s normally fine — you’re just using us as the printer.
If something doesn’t meet this policy
We review every order’s files before we print. If we spot a problem at that stage — which is the usual case — it’s before any payment: we simply decline the order and let you know why, with nothing charged. In the rare case a problem only surfaces after you’ve paid, you get a full refund. We may also refuse or cancel any order that breaks this policy.
